SQL Specialist | Healthcare Business Analyst
Department: Client Services
Reports To: Client Services Manager
We are seeking a SQL/Healthcare Business Analyst for our Client Services Team. The SQL/Healthcare Business Analyst will be responsible for SQL development services, working with customers in answering questions or resolving problems, and providing consultative advice on managed behavioral healthcare business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Create custom stored procedures and DTS packages to be used by InfoMC client.
- Create SQL queries for InfoMC clients and Client Services Team.
- Provide on-site and off-site consultation to InfoMC clients to ensure the proper configuration and functionality of InfoMC’s software products.
- Assist with the creation of functional system design specifications for system modifications.
- Define clients’ needs and ensure that the requirements are met upon completion of the implementation.
- Interact and support client, to include problem follow-up as necessary.
- Properly document and resolve client issues in a timely fashion.
Key Internal and External Relationships
- Provides status of projects to management.
- Works closely with Product Development and Product Management teams.
- Works closely with other Client Services Team members.
- Provide on-going technical feedback to clients.
Experience/Skills
- Minimum 3+ years experience with SQL Server 2000 or higher.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with the design and maintenance of DTS packages.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with creating complex stored procedures.
- Understand database concepts and advanced query capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
- Crystal Reports experience a plus.
- Able to communicate effectively, both written and oral.
- Strong organizational, planning, presentation and time management skills.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Detail oriented and quality focused.
- Project management.
- Able to complete multiple tasks and projects within internal and external deadlines.
- Managed healthcare background a plus.
- Ability to travel to InfoMC’s client sites (up to 25% travel).
Education
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
