We are looking for a Microsoft Full Stack Engineer (“Developer”) to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.  As a full stack developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

The Microsoft full stack developer is a key part of the Technology team working collaboratively to design, develop, implement, and enhance our SAAS applications.  Our engineers work in an agile environment creating new feature functionality and enhancing existing software modules.  If you’re also familiar with agile methodologies, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
  • Assist with client-side and server-side architecture design
  • Build front-end applications with appealing visual design
  • Build well-functioning and responsive applications
  • Unit test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
  • Develop effective APIs across applications
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
  • Create security and data protection settings
  • Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
  • Write effective technical documentation
  • Stay current in web applications and programming languages

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field; or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience as a full stack developer
  • 5+ years developing in Microsoft languages (.NET, VS, C#) required
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher
  • 3+ years with multiple front-end languages and libraries (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap)
  • 3+ years with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js, jQuery)
  • 3+ years with server-side languages (.NET, Java, Ruby, Python, PHP, .NET)
  • 3+ years developing desktop and mobile applications
  • Solid interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively work in an agile team environment
  • Solid organizational and self-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • An analytical mind

Skills:

  • Languages: .NET Framework, VB.NET, JavaScript, Python, T-SQL, REST, C#, Entity Framework, MVC, RDO, ADO, ODBC, MAPI. HTML, VBScript, JavaScript, DHTML, XML, ASP.NET, JSON, MQ
  • Software: Microsoft Visual Studio, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) a plus, IIS, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) a plus
  • Databases: SQL Server, NoSQL, Tableau, Mongo a plus
  • Structured analysis and design, agile system development life cycles (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Object oriented analysis and design, graphical user interface (GUI) design, relational database processing using SQL and Entity Framework
  • Web development: Markup languages (XML, DHTML & HTML) and scripting languages (JavaScript, VBScript & ASP)
