SQL Developer


The SQL Developer is a member of the Technology Operations team and will be responsible for development and maintenance of the databases necessary to run InfoMC software. The SQL Developer will design, develop, and maintain new tables, data structures, and database objects (stored procedures, views, functions) to enhance InfoMC’s application databases. You should have a passion for data, optimization, scalability, reliability, and be very detailed-oriented in coding and data quality standards. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implement, maintain, and test data-related functionality in InfoMC products from specification
  • Performance tuning including query tuning, profiling, and performance monitoring on current and future applications
  • Implement, maintain, and test data interoperability, reporting, and warehousing technologies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain procedures for maintaining database system health
  • Assist in production support, at times requiring after-hours and weekend effort
  • Aid implementation team members in data conversations and other data processes
  • Aid DevOps in automating deployment of data and database structures
  • Perform database code reviews to ensure viability of logic and code follows best practices and InfoMC conventions


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field; or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008R2 or higher
  • 3+ years of experience with the creation of tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) 2008R2 or higher
  • Experience in database design and modeling
  • Experience with database performance and optimization
  • Coding experience in Microsoft languages (.NET, VB, C#) a big plus
  • Conversant with technologies such as C#/.NET, JavaScript
  • Solid interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and ability to effectively work in an agile team
