InfoMC and MCG Health Partner to Integrate Evidence-Based Care Guidelines into Incedo Healthcare Management Platform

Integrated solution automates the process for populating behavioral health medical necessity criteria in Incedo using gold-standard clinical content

Conshohocken, PA – October 12, 2017 –  MCG Health, a leading provider of informed care strategies and part of the Hearst Health network, and InfoMC, a leader in cloud-based healthcare management and care coordination solutions, have partnered to offer a solution where InfoMC’s Incedo Healthcare Management System is informed by MCG’s Behavioral Health Care guidelines. The resulting efficiencies will permit care teams (at behavioral health organizations, health plans, ACOs, and hospital systems) to focus more time on providing quality care to their members and patients.

Incedo, Informed by MCG for Behavioral Health Care, offers a seamless user experience, providing access to MCG Behavioral Health Care content directly within Incedo’s utilization management workflows. Through this tandem of technology and clinical guidance, users can easily search content by category, keyword, or indication, and use the platform to automatically identify the relevant guideline for a service request. Based on the response to a given guideline, the platform can determine whether the request meets the necessary criteria and populate the appropriate fields accordingly. This ease of use and accessibility will empower clinicians to incorporate the Behavioral Health Care guidelines into their own process, helping to ensure the delivery of quality, evidence-based care.

JJ Farook, InfoMC’s Chairman and CEO, is delighted with the partnership and says, “By integrating MCG’s informed care decision support with InfoMC’s utilization management workflows, we are able to provide greater efficiency and standardization to our customers. This integration also enhances the overall value of InfoMC’s utilization management solution in the market.”

Jon Shreve, President and CEO of MCG, says, “MCG is committed to working with like- minded companies to make healthcare more efficient while improving patient outcomes, and our partnership with InfoMC represents our combined passion for evidence-based content and innovative delivery via new technology like Incedo.”
